Hemingway's Bathroom ... love!

We checked out Ernest Hemingway’s Key West home this morning before leaving Key West. A really amazing property set on an acre of land a block from the beach and lighthouse.

Highlights:

• Seeing about twenty different cats on the property (many were polydactyl, meaning that they have extra toes) Love!
• Learning about the mysterious life of Ernest Hemingway and how his life was reflected in his writing

I’ve only read one of Hemingway’s books, but now that I know some background on him and his works, I think I want to read Nobel Prize-winning novella “The Old Man and the Sea.” We shall see.
